Chemical Peels

Chemical peel is a technique used to improve the appearance of the skin on the face, neck or hands.

A solution is applied to the skin that causes it to exfoliate and eventually peel. The skin that regenerates is usually smoother and rejuvenated, with reduced fine lines and wrinkles.

At the Encorė Cosmetic Clinic we offer:

Glycolic Refresher Peels. These peels give the skin a healthier glow and, with repeated peels, skin tone and complexion are, invariably, significantly improved. These peels are very superficial. They usually only cause mild redness, thus they don’t necessitate any time off work. These peels are best performed every four to six weeks.

These peels are performed using a fruit acid called glycolic acid. As we are a specialist clinic, we are able to use stronger strengths of these acids than are usually available through beauty therapy clinics. However, the effect of these peels is maintained longer in clients who also have regular peels at their beauticians. In addition, continued use of these peels may also result in mild improvement of wrinkles.

Other Peels

Laser Peels – Our Sciton tunable Erbium laser allows us to offer very precise depth peels. The use of this laser has replaced a number of chemical peels we used to perform.

We can perform superficial to deep peels with this laser. See Laser Facial Rejuvenation to find out more.

Peels at the Encorė Cosmetic Clinic are administered by our expert team and the effects are usually safe and predictable.
